Rep Yo Set
A two poster set (18X25) on the Folk and People Nations. Both are rival alliances of street gangs that were founded in the Illinois Correctional System in the 70s. By the 80s, the vying factions spread nationwide and before long, almost every street gang was aligned with either the Folk or the People Nation. Gang symbols and slogans from both Nations were graphically reinterpreted into logotypes.
